Imagine ...
On this day, you are standing in a place,
in the
mountains, in the sunshine. It is in the morning,
and the air is very clear, very bright,
you can see for miles, with the grey mountains
rising up behind you into the clouds,
their ancient peaks covered in eternal snow,
and the valley lying
before you,
all the way over the forests and meadows,
following a shiny river with your eyes
until you see
the silver shimmer of the sea
beneath a perfect blue sky
at the far horizon. There is a path that gently winds downwards,
into
the forest, and you start to walk downwards,
past the rocks and little yellow mountain flowers,
stepping lightly
and confidently for
here you are always young,
and you breathe deeply, easily,
as you start to descend to
the tree line. Here are smaller trees,
and they become larger
as you walk down further and further,
into the forest that becomes ever more impressive,
ever more majestic, deep and golden green,
ever more still, as though you were entering
a vast living cathedral. The ground is soft here,
soft green moss and old brown needles
from the ancient trees,
and the air is moist and deeply fragrant,
a sense of green is all around you,
old life, powerful life,
and you draw this beauty and strength into yourself
as you walk gently downwards. And then, ahead you see
a shimmer of gold and spring greens,
little flecks of dancing orange, blue and
red,
and you enter into a meadow,
a secret meadow here in the center of the ancient forest,
a world all
of its own,
entirely protected by the trees
that stand their silent, singing guard,
and here, the sun shines
warm and golden,
and here the grass is young,
and finest, most delicious green,
as soft as silk beneath your
feet
and many, many flowers, delicate and beautiful,
dance in the grass.
Small birds sing,
and butterflies that seem like fairies
dance in their splendour here;
and you can sense and scent and hear
a little brook, not far away. Ahead, you see a small outcrop of
smooth warm ancient rock,
and on this rock, there sits a child. They are turned away from
you,
but you can tell what they are wearing,
what their hair is like, and how old they are -
you recognise
this child,
for this is a child like once you were,
a special child
and we are here to meet this child,
here on this day,
here in this most enchanted meadow,
where all is beauty, safety and love. The brook lies between you
and the child who is still sitting on the rock,
so you stop and send a thought of welcome -
the child turns
and you can see their face,
and so you smile and wave. The child is surprised to see you,
perhaps they were alone here
for a long time, or forever;
the child is not exactly scared
but clearly doesn't know
quite what to
do with you. So you kneel down,
and put your hands into the water of the brook -
cool, and so alive it is,
it sparkles in your hands pure energy,
and from this water
which in truth is living energy complete and absolute,
now fashion a gift for the child,
with your hands and with your heart,
form the water that is malleable and warm,
into a shape, a shape that
takes a form,
a form that takes a feeling, takes a colour,
and another, and becomes more real and real
until it is a special toy just for this child
you are holding in your loving and creative hands.
Be full of wonder at this
gift of love
and bless it one more time,
and now extend your hands
and let the toy fly gently up, across
the brook,
and send it to the child still sitting on the rock
and watching you with focus and with concentration.The child captures the toy
and they takes it, hold it close to their heart,
and then the toy dissolves in light
and melts
into the child's dear heart -
here is the moment now of transformation,
as a light begins to shine,
and
now the child rises,
and they look like an angel,
full of life and full of light,
it is a wonder to behold. The child then comes to you
across the brook
and holds out its hands -
you take them, small and cool
and yet so full of life and love
into your own,
and this now feels as though a circuit is complete,
and light and love and life rush into you,
rush through you and you too are now transformed
and you must dance, together,
whirling, spinning round
and round,
and then there comes the moment
where you hold each other close,
and closer, and more closely
still,
and then you merge into each other -
now, there is only one child
dancing in the meadow,
and it is you,
and you are perfect,
joyous, so alive,
it tingles through your body,
resonates all
through your mind,
and you embrace the meadow,
and the forest, and the mountains,
and the rivers, and the
valleys,
and the sea and love it all,
and own it all, and take it all,
and all is yours,
now and forever. Rest awhile now. Drift and dream.
When you awake,
awake refreshed,
renewed and knowing
that a
good thing has been done ...

Foretelling the FutureA very dear friend of mine lent me a book called Lifting the Veil of Illusions: How to Identify and Heal the Influences of Unseen Forces. Though a fairly good work in its own right, I personally found the content only so-so; however because this post is
not a book review, I will save you the boorish lecture. Rather I'd like to focus on one particular chapter in this work, Foretelling
the Future because, even though I do not agree with the full contents of the chapter, I do feel much
of the material is of importance for both those who receive 'readings' and for those who give them. Additionally, it
well demonstrates why I always inform clients "what I receive for you today is based on the current patterns
as they are today (translation: this very moment). What I receive for you today is that which is most likely
to occur based solely on today's patterns and choices." The words I use are not the exact same every time,
but the message is always the same. It also expresses why I frequently avoid "seeing into the future" during readings
I give, and focus rather on the client's current condition/situation and his/her role in it. And finally, it
shows why I have chosen to alter the way I give readings.
What follows is the complete chapter, as it was written.
Foretelling the Future, Chapter 17
How important is it for us to
do Good in our lives?! Nobody wants their life to be wasted. But it happens. Many people end up doing exactly that, without
knowing. At times we think if I only knew the future, I would know what steps to take. This is a misconception. It is the
present that helps you to know what to do right now not the future.
There are many types of psychics, fortune tellers,
clairvoyants, intuitives and channelers. For all their varying differences, they really fall into two distant categories:
psychics that tune into your energetic field to ascertain information and psychics that receive their guidance directly from
God.
The information varies dramatically depending on its source. Obviously, receiving from the Highest Source,
will be the most accurate. Some believe they are receiving from a very High Source, when in reality this is not the case.
I remember a funny little man that came to the Center one day. He claimed he was channeling Ascended Masters. He spoke
very fast almost like he was on fast-forward. Liza and I could tell right away, he was not channeling Ascended Masters as
he claimed. Yes, he was channeling something, but nothing of a good nature. The energy around him was dark, and the things
he said were completely ridiculous, having nothing to do with the Truth.. This guy was convinced he was channeling Ascended
Masters, and he really believed he was.
As you can see, even when someone says they are getting their information
from the Highest Source, don't just take their word for it. Do your own work.
So, what is the purpose of being
psychic or intuitive? We are all intuitive, we just need to use this wonderful gift. This ability is given to everyone, so
we can develop a closer relationship with God, so we can hear His guidance and receive his Truths. As we move through life,
we will know what direction to go. God will be able to guide us.
You cannot develop a closer relationship with
someone through hearsay. This includes God. You need to have direct contact, and this is the main reason we are intuitive.
Those who have already developed this ability could be great conduits for God's Love and Wisdom, much like in ancient times
they called them prophets.
When you get too caught up in your own wants and desires, then you forget to ask God
for the guidance, and go off on your own.
Many people want to know the future, but life can only be lived in the
PRESENT. To see the future is of little to no value, because the future holds millions of possibilities. When you are scouting
ahead, you are only seeing one potential. Achieving the future you are seeing depends on making the right moves today and
tomorrow and the next day, and every moment of time, until that future becomes the PRESENT.
The problem is, when
the future finally arrives, you might not want what you saw anymore. You might have outgrown it like a child gets tired of
a new toy after a few days. Maybe what you wanted to see in the future wasn't even good for you. But the main point is - you
are only seeing one of a million possibilities.
Use your intuition for this moment, than you won't be disappointed. In fact, I think, you will be pleasantly surprised.
By making good decisions today, based on guidance you receive from the Highest Source, you will get exactly what is right
for you at the right time!

Half-God's, Martyrs, & HypocritesReiki, for itself, is an interesting beginning: On the one hand it allows lay people
to come into contact with this energy and pass it on to others.
On
the other hand, being "mortal" - and on the other being able to achieve something "sacred" can be somewhat
confusing.
In order to mask the accompanying insecurity (who exactly
am I? What am I doing here?), some people, from time to time, start play acting, which is counterproductive for the client.
Wei Chi, an energy personality which is channeled by the American Kevin
Ross Emergy and Thomas A Hensel (http://www.weboflight.com/) characterizes this typical roll playing that may occur in this situation: The half
God, the martyr, and the hypocrite.
The Hypocrite
The hypocrite is someone who combines financial interests with Reiki but won't admit
it.
It is normal and totally acceptable to want to earn money with
Reiki. Why not?
It is only critical when one won't admit wanting to
earn money and therefore pushes their wish into the subconscious - where it starts to take on a life of it's own.
This can lead to dependencies, unconsciously, being developed.
For example, one lets a client repeatedly return for a session for which one is repeatedly paid but without
any intention of ending the process.
Reiki should not be used to make
others dependent on you. Reiki is a process which helps others to heal themselves.
If you discover the above mentioned characteristics about yourself, the first healing step is to admit this
desire for money.
And thus to find a way in which you can one the one
hand earn the money you wish and on the other strengthen your client to be independent of you. (Which sounds like a contradiction
but is in fact the opposite.)
The Martyr
The opposite of the hypocrite. The martyr wasnts no money. They happily sacrifice themselves
for free.
Martyrs belittle theselves. tThey will serve at any price.
They take no money. They only want to be holy.
The problem martyrs
have is that they actually want something: Recognition. They want to be useful. They want to be thanked. They want the client's
praise which tells them how pleasant, moving, or successful their treatment was.
Subsequently martyrs automatically find themselves dependent on the clients.
But the clients themselves end up being dependent.
Because the martyr
takes none or too little money a honest exchange does not occur and the client is obliged ("for ever") to be thankful.
If you notice such tendencies about yourself the first step out of this
dependency is to work on your feelings of worthlessness.
The
Half God
While the hypocrites secretly use Reiki to satisfy
their financial desires and martyrs to compensate their feelings of worthlessness, the half Gods use Reiki to expand their
power.
Half Gods want to rule over others. They put themselves above
others and use the energy to belittle others. They present themselves as great healers, who can achieve great things in others
and through this can save them.
Which of course isn't true. Whether
a treatment "bears fruit" or not doesn't depend on the healer but on the person being treated.
Half Gods are playing with fire. The higher they lift themselves above others the deeper
they drop.
If you notice such tendencies about yourself a first step
out is to recognize your inferiority complex and to accept it.
Those
who are in a position to accept this "constraint" develop real greatness in this moment.
